Editing & Project Management

I'm a highly experienced editor and project manager.

I work for leading publishers and direct with authors, across non-fiction, poetry and fiction.

Editorial project management I can take care of a non-fiction book from author brief/draft flatplan to final proofread, liaising with your editorial team in or out of house and commissioning contributors as necessary.

Editing I offer structural editing, line editing, copyediting, page editing in InDesign and proofreading. I work on both non-fiction and fiction (excluding children's/YA). I also copyedit and proofread poetry.

'Proof-editing' I proofread and copyedit marketing materials and websites for publishers and indie authors.

'Anna is more than just a great editor – she has a rare ability to see the bigger picture. Her insight and guidance didn’t just improve my writing, they helped me grow as a writer.' Vicky Carpenter (non-fiction)

'I can't thank you enough for the quality and depth of your corrections and comments in the margin...I had a steep learning curve to climb but your email letter made it really easy for me.' David Healey (poetry)

'Thank you so much for all your work. You have made the proofing process as painless as possible.' Katie Hall, Marketing and Brand Director, Faber

I'm also the author of two non-fiction books written to the publisher's title and brief: How to Raise a Global Citizen (DK) and A Young Citizen's Guide to Money (Hodder Wayland).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 'This is a book that all parents should have ... Well written and easy to understand.' Amazon reviewer on How to Raise a Global Citizen by Anna Davidson
